Scottish Rural Action is recruiting a Comms & Engagement Officer

This is an exciting opportunity to join Scottish Rural Action in a role that has enormous capacity to shape how we deliver our work, ensuring that Scotland’s rural communities are connected and that rural issues are taken into the mainstream of policy making.

You do not need to be an expert on rural Scotland but you do need to bring an open mind and have the interest and drive to learn on the job. As Communications and Engagement Officer, you will help create the communications infrastructure and engagement processes which will enable us work effectively together with our stakeholders. A priority is to build engagement with rural residents and communities, especially those who face barriers to being heard and included.

You will join a small, supportive and dynamic team of staff and volunteers including volunteer Directors. You will need to be comfortable managing your own workload and enabling others to contribute where necessary.
