A Scottish delegation attended the European Rural Parliament in Kielce, Poland, from the 12-15th of September. Representing organisations from across Scotland, including Scottish Rural Action, the Scottish Government, Scottish Rural Network, Scottish Islands Federation, the Rural Youth Project, Rural Housing Scotland, and CoDel, we joined 350 other delegates from 40 countries over 4 days to share stories, ideas and solutions to some of the biggest challenges facing our rural communities.

Following each European Rural Parliament, the issues identified are presented to the decision makers in Brussels. SRA Acting Chair Vanessa Halhead, who is also a member of the Steering Group of the ERP, was part of a delegation who presented these findings to the different European institutions
