RBS Closures – nearest banks now

As part of the evidence gathering for the Scottish Affairs Committee at Westminster on the 17th of January, we prepared a mapping exercise of the nearest RBS branch and Post Office. The exercise is a summary of the 62 factsheets that RBS have provided in the run up to the branch closures RBS proposed options and rural-urban closures

    I use a power chair to get around most places, so accessibility if key for me being included and engaging with others.

    However, I understand that these RBS mobile banks are inaccessible for wheelchair users and people with mobility problems.

    This is yet another example of discrimination due to lack of accessibility to services and impacts far more on wheelchair users that live in rural areas than it does those in urban areas, often with a selection of banks and building societies to choose from.
