The Cross Party Group on Islands in the Scottish Parliament provides a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to Scotland’s islands and the residents of island communities, and aims to improve links between the Scottish Parliament and island communities. Secretariat is provided by Scottish Rural Action and the Scottish Islands Federation.
The lunchtime meeting on Wednesday, 28th February will take place online and will focus on the National Islands Plan which is currently under review by the Scottish Government. Discussion on the objectives within the National Islands Plan will help inform the agendas of future meetings of the Cross Party Group on Islands.
