Welcome to the Community Spaces Network page. This is your one-stop hub for resources that can help your village hall or community space access real, practical support. The Community Spaces Network is run in partnership by Scottish Rural Action and Social Enterprise Scotland.

The aim of the network is to share best practice and encourage learning, mainly through peer-led events and campaigns. It also connects to a wider national network of organisations working together to provide a range of support for village halls and community spaces, and the annual Village Halls Week celebration.

The Scottish Government’s Recovering our Connections 2023–2026 strategy highlights rebuilding social connections as a national priority, while Scottish Care has described loneliness as a “quiet public health crisis,” affecting almost half of people over 50 at least some of the time.
